Michelle Shipley

Co-founder, Producer, Production Manager, Fixer

Michelle Shipley is an accomplished Producer, Production Manager, and Fixer in the Canadian film and TV industry. Early in her career as the Development and Program Supervisor for The Comedy Network, she assisted producers Canada-wide from pitch to on-air delivery. In her 25 years, she has delivered over 100 half hours of narrative programming to broadcast partners including The Comedy Network, CTV, MTV, and W, on time and on budget. A member of the original team that launched MTV Canada, she led the way in establishing profitable brand partnerships for the network's inaugural Spring Break programming.

 

Career highlights include producing the award-winning Winterlude Special for CTV's E-TALK DAILY, and creating and selling her original series GIRLS WILL BE GIRLS - the only Canadian comedy series featuring an all-female cast at the time. As a professor of filmmaking at Fanshawe College, she shares her passion with her students while working on projects like THE AMAZING RACE CANADA. With diverse roles and a creative edge, she is a television business expert with a passion for excellence.

Kelly Peckham

Co-founder, Producer, Director

Esteemed Producer and Director Kelly Peckham has an impressive career spanning more than thirty years, resulting in countless hours of award-winning television. Through her company, Wide Eye Television, Kelly specializes in factual genres, including news, documentary programming, and lifestyle content. Honing her skills as a Production Executive at Life Network, Kelly received a Gemini Award for Best Lifestyle Series with TIL DEBT DO US PART, while her work with Discovery Channel Canada earned her a Telly Award and multiple Worldfest Houston Awards.

 

Not one to shy away from a challenge, Kelly has worked on productions in spectacular locations, war zones, and in the face of natural disasters. Her work in Puerto Rico following Hurricane Maria earned a nomination for the prestigious Walter Sullivan Award for Excellence in Science Journalism - Features. As an Industry Advisor for the Forest City Film Festival, she continues to promote production in Southwestern Ontario while engaging a new generation of filmmakers. A talented creative voice, exceptional writer, director, and producer, Kelly is well-known for creating highly successful television productions with wide appeal.
